Vice President, Marketing Executive
Gregory Paulsen is the manager of Marcotte’s commercial marketing department and Vice President with the Agency. Greg is one of the principals of the agency, has been active on the management team for over eight years and sits on the Board of Directors. Greg’s primary role within the agency is the management of the commercial marketing department. He works with Marcotte’s Account Executives and customers as a liaison with the insurance companies and is active in the design, pricing and implementation of insurance and risk management programs. Greg also has some Account Executive duties serving a number of Marcotte’s larger clients who require an underwriting background. He is a graduate of the Wartburg College in Waverly with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Computer Information. Previous to joining Marcotte, Greg was a large account commercial underwriter with Aetna Life and Casualty for over ten years. He has obtained five specialty insurance designations: Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Associate in Underwriting (AU), Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM) and Associate in Management (AIM). Greg is a board member for the Nebraska Agents Service Corporation and has been active in other insurance industry organizations, including Iowa Property Casualty Underwriters Association and Independent Insurance Agents Association of Nebraska. Greg also volunteers for a number of area nonprofit organizations and has been a YMCA coach.
