Gene Brewer

Senior Safety Consultant

Gene is a Senior Safety Consultant for Marcotte’s Risk Control and Safety Services division.  He brings with him over 35 years of safety experience in private business, construction, industrial manufacturing, academic, public safety, environmental health and community civil service environments.  Gene works with Marcotte’s clients providing training and direct safety services.  A native of Illinois, graduated from Lake Land Community College with an Arts and Science degree and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Illinois State University. Gene is a retired volunteer firefighter.EMT-I from the Elkhorn Suburban Fire and Rescue and is a former State of Nebraska Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Fire Safety Instructor.  He is a member of the Great Plains American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), a American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) CPR/AED and First Aid Instructor and a Metropolitan Omaha Educational Consortium OSHA Outreach instructor.  In his free time, Gene and his wife Linda enjoy spending time with their sons and grandchildren, traveling, gardening and fishing.
